Pittie Please, Find A Cure Walk
Grab your leash and join our FUNdraiser! ABC’s Of Bullies is thrilled to be hosting our second annual, “Pittie Please, Find a Cure Walk!” We are combining two causes that are near and dear to our hearts.
ABC’s of Bullies is an advocacy group that fights breed specific legislation (BSL) in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. BSL punishes responsible dog owners by imposing malicious laws that regulate or ban certain breeds of dogs, including but not limited to pit bulls. We are fighting each day for discriminated breeds and their owners alike to live prejudice free.
A member of our group and pit bull owner not only fights BSL, but also battles Cystic Fibrosis- a deadly lung disease. On a daily basis she struggles to literally breathe. Better than any therapy, her “Pittie” girls, Kemo and Chula stay right by her side.
At the walk, ABC’s of Bullies will be bringing positive attention to our dogs while bringing awareness to the struggle of Cystic Fibrosis! So, let’s walk our pit bulls and their K-9 friends and raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Pittie Please, Find A Cure Walk is open to ALL dog breeds. We do not discriminate. All dogs...big, small, senior, blind, deaf, or chubby...are welcome! All proceeds benefit
the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Silent Auction Items: In-home dog training, cornhole boards, hotel stays, photography session, human and dog hair products, doggie items, paintings/prints, restaurant gift certificates, dog boarding gift certificates, and much more. Be sure to bring checks or cash!

Registration forms can be found under the walk forms section.
$10 Walker Registration fee if paid by September 1st
$15 after September 1st or on the day of the walk
Children 10 and under are Free
$7 fee for individuals walking from a rescue/shelter or $25 to have a booth at the event

Vendor Booths/Corporate Sponsorship
We are inviting local businesses, rescues/shelters, and non-profit groups to have a booth at the Pittie Please Find A Cure Walk for a low sponsorship fee. Booth space for rescues/shelters and non-profit groups is just $25. Businesses that donate at least $50 in cash, products, or services to our event may have booth space. We are seeking monetary donations, items for the silent auction, goodies for participant bags, prepackaged foods, beverages, and dog-related products/services. All donations are tax deductible through the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. We will mail a receipt for monetary donations or a tax ID number for donated goods from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation that can be used for tax purposes.
Corporate Sponsor Forms can be found on the Walk Forms section of this site. A confirmation letter or email will be sent once the form is received. In order for gold sponsors to be included on the walk t-shirt, the form and payment must be received before August 31, 2010. Other sponsors can RSVP as late as Monday, September 6th. Vendors should bring everything to the event that they will need for their booth space- tables, tents, chairs, etc.

Help fund the Pittie Please, Find A Cure walk by purchasing a $10 Larosa's Buddy card or pre-ordering one of the amazing t-shirts created by Idlebrook . All t-shirts are $12(sizes S-XL) & $14 (sizes 1X & up). There is a $5 shipping and handling fee for shirts to be mailed. The "Punish The Deed, Not The Breed" t-shirt will be available in white and gray. The "Pittie Please Find A Cure" t-shirt will be available in white and will say "Pit Boss" on the back with our Gold Sponsors' logos. We will send buddy cards through the mail. T-shirts can be picked up on the day of the walk. By pre-ordering your shirt, we can guarantee that we will have your size. We appreciate your support!
